The Italian premiere of the new movie by Timothée Chalamet is packed with fans
They were hungry for a piece of Timothée Chalameta.
The premiere of the new film by actor “Bones and All” in Milan on the red carpet was canceled on Saturday due to security concerns as crowds of fans stormed the red carpet.
The film, starring the 26-year-old, was scheduled to open at Milan’s Space Cinema Odeon until local police became concerned that the swelling fans posed a serious security threat and closed the film. Diversity reports.
According to local officials, the event continued – albeit to a limited extent – and the show went on as planned.
“Bones and All” debuted in September at the Venice Film Festival, where it met with another huge fan turnout.
While Venice was able to provide enough space for the “Call Me By Your Name” actor, the Milan venue was unprepared.
Chalamet did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.
In Bones and all, Chalamet stars alongside Taylor Russell as a pair of cannibalistic lovers on their way together. The film is set to debut in the United States with a limited premiere on November 18, and will expand to a wide premiere on November 23.
