The last resting place of Anne Heche has been revealed
Anne Heche will be buried at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles along with other showbiz biggest names.
The body of the star “Men in the Trees” was cremated on August 18, and her remains will be buried in a famous place, according to the death certificate obtained by E! News.
Judy Garland, Mel Blanc, Mickey Rooney, Marion Davies, and Cecil B. DeMille are some of the big names that are also buried there.
A spokesman for Heche did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
Earlier this month, the 53-year-old actress hit her Mini Cooper in a house in Los Angeles, which then burned down.
Its representative told Page Six that the star “Six Days, Seven Nights” had sustained severe hypoxic brain damage, a lung injury that required mechanical ventilation, and severe burns that required surgical intervention. She fell into a coma and never regained consciousness.
Investigators were reportedly able to determine that she was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the crash.
A week later, on August 12, the star “Donnie Brasco” was pronounced brain dead, but was left undergoing resuscitation to allow time for the organ registry to find recipients.
On the same day, a representative of Heche issued a statement about her death.
“Today we lost a bright light, a kind and joyful soul, a loving mother and a loyal friend,” reads the statement. “Anne will miss her a lot, but she lives thanks to her beautiful sons, her cult work and her passionate intercessor. Her courage to always stand in her truth, spreading a message of love and acceptance will continue to make a lasting impact. “
According to a Los Angeles County medical coroner, the actress, who dated Ellen DeGeneres in the 1990s, died from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.
They also listed a sternum fracture due to blunt trauma as a contributing factor to her death, which was considered accidental.
Heche was survived by her 20-year-old son, Homer Laffoon, whom she co-founded with ex-husband Coleman “Coley” Laffoon, and 13-year-old son Atlas Heche Tupper, whom she shared with ex-boyfriend James Tupper.
