The next Google event: announcements and news

What did Google explain?

• Teasers for Android 13, Pixel 7 and Glass were shown at Google I/O.
• Also unveiled was a Pixel Watch with Fitbit integration, Pixel Buds Pro (the company’s answer to Apple’s AirPods Pro), a Pixel tablet, and AR glasses.
• Aside from a live translation demonstration during a call, Google hasn’t revealed much about its AR glasses.
• The availability, prices and specifications are not yet known.
• The Pixel 6a smartphone, which was announced in March, was also scrutinized.
• More information on these products and software updates should be available in the fall.
• Android 12 was released in fall 2021, as was the Pixel 6 line of smartphones.
• On October 19, 2021, the company introduced the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.
• The smartphones contain a number of improvements, including Google’s Tensor System-on-Chip (SoC).
• The smartphones were teased by Google in August along with the announcement of the 5G Pixel 5a.

When is the next Google event?

We don’t know when the next Google event will be, but it will most likely be in the fall. The Pixel 6 smartphones will be presented in October 2021.
