“These are my choices for me”

Kelly Ripa keeps it true.

The 51-year-old talk show presenter is used to opening up emotionally every morning on Live with Kelly & Ryan – and seeing herself in front of the camera every day.

This caused some uncertainty, she said in new interview with People discusses his upcoming book Live Wire: Long-winded Short Stories, which will be out on September 28th.

“For me, it was just a greater level of comfort. If I was working off-camera, I wouldn’t wash my hair regularly and wear makeup, but when I started seeing things I didn’t like, I figured the next turtleneck would have two holes for my eyes, ”she said.

Instead, she started getting wrinkle-smoothing injections and hasn’t looked back since then.

“I’m not saying you should let people intimidate you into cosmetic procedures. These are my elections for I,” she said.

In 2020, Ripa even joked about her “Botox deficiency” during the blockade, taking viewers backstage when she was stabbed at the camera.

“As I describe in the book, being open and honest about beauty treatments, I’ve always done it on the show. I always talked about it openly and honestly because I thought, really honestly, at 40, that I was the only one aging person and I couldn’t understand why, ”Ripa said in the accompanying video for her song People.

“I kept saying,” I have to quit my job because … it’s too early in the morning, too much reading, too much work, a lot of anxiety, too much makeup and it weighs me down and I’m just looking older than everyone else. “

The pop diva said she recently listened to a platinum album …

But instead of finding a new career, Ripa started dabbling with injections and discussing her experience on the air.

“There are procedures you can follow. And then when you start talking about what you’ve done, people get very receptive to what they’ve done, and then you start trading doctors, ”she said.

In fact, there are no rangers here – the blonde bombshell said she even provided a list of her doctors at the end of the book so New Yorkers could get in touch and make their own appointments.

“If you see someone you think is good, you should be generous with that information,” said Ripa.
