This $14 product was the secret to several stars’ glow at the Met Gala
On Monday night, the stars of the Met Gala 2024 showed up in full force and shined even more thanks to this drugstore purchase.
While A-list lovers have a wide range of products at their disposal, a few of them have been prepared in the same promising glow ahead of this year’s fashion-packed fest: L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion ($17 $14).
Elle Fanning accessorized her crystal Balmain gown with dewy makeup with moisturizing highlighter, and Camilla Cabello used her makeup as part of an all-in-one L’Oréal hair and makeup look.
And this product becomes something of a staple for Kendall Jenner’s red carpet; She has used it for many high profile events, including her “fresh and beautiful modern renaissance” Met Gala look created by makeup artist Mary Phillips.
It looks like Glotion has been experiencing a renaissance of its own lately, because three Met Gala attendees aren’t the only ones obsessed with it.
So far, it has racked up over 36,000 largely positive reviews on Amazon – and according to the brand, one flies off the shelves every 14 seconds.
“It gives your skin the perfect dewy glow without the shiny look that other tinted moisturizers give you,” raved one satisfied customer, calling it “literal perfection.”
One person called it “a revolution in my skin care routine,” while a third raved: “I usually buy high-end makeup products and I’m blown away by this.”
Martha Stewart is fascinated by it, as is her makeup artist Daisy Foye he once told People he uses a tinted moisturizing cream “every day” with his 82-year-old client.
“That’s how she gets that dewy look, like she just had a facial,” she added. “I’m obsessed with it.”
