Tom Brady takes aim at Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift takes aim at roast

Tom Brady took aim at Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift, attracting a new fan base for Swiftie from the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest,” the retired New England Patriots quarterback said during Sunday night’s Netflix “The Roast of Tom Brady.”

“It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls,” he joked.

Brady, 46, later addressed the 34-year-old pop star directly, making several Swift-centric puns.

“In honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look back at the Chiefs era,” he said, referring to her hit Eras Tour, and then referenced one of her songs: “Terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.”

Kelce, also 34, helped the Chiefs win three Super Bowls in 2020, 2023 and 2024.

Brady, for his part, has won seven Super Bowls in his 23-year career, the most of any player in NFL history.

Swift and Kelce weren’t the football legend’s only targets during his wild roast. He also gave a not-so-nice shout-out to Kim Kardashian, who was booed by the audience earlier in the evening when she introduced the evening’s host, Kevin Hart.

“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight,” Brady told the raucous crowd. “Not because of that, but because her kids are at home with their dad.”

Kardashian and Kanye West – who have daughters North, 10, and Chicago, 6, and sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 4 – divorced in November 2022 after seven years of marriage.

Since then, the “Gold Digger” rapper’s career has taken off after a series of anti-Semitic incidents and several social media tirades about his parenting situation with the Skims founder.

Kardashian, 43, and Brady briefly sparked romance rumors last summer when they were spotted flirting at Michael Rubin’s star-studded, all-white Fourth of July party.

Brady and Gisele Bündchen divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

The supermodel shares two children with Brady: son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11. He also has a son, Jack, 16, with his ex-partner Bridget Moynahan.

The athlete was angry about his interactions with Moynahan, 53, and Bündchen, 43, during the live comedy show.
