Spears, 40, danced topless only in a tiny pink bikini bottom and platform high heels, striding proudly through her house to show off her waist-length braids.

“First time having really long hair !!!” wrote a pop star.

Fans he compared the star to another famous mermaid – Madison Daryl Hannah in Splash – and asked if the new hairstyle was for the music video “Hold Me Closer” opposite Elton John.

This isn’t the first time a former teenage queen has proudly posted a postconservation topless photo – although she usually uses her hands as a bra rather than her hair.

She became famous for her quirky social media posts showing off toilet paper earrings and long messages explaining her side of the story in the past.

Late last week, singer “Gimme More” posted a photo of a nude bathtub on social media to celebrate her new hit with John, shortly before a Page Six spy revealed he had spotted topless Spears in a hotel pool.
