Page Six can confirm that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott owe more than $200,000 on a 12-year bank loan.
According to court documents filed May 20, City National Bank continues to seek payment from McDermott and Spelling for a $400,000 loan from 2012, which they promised to pay with interest.
The filing, obtained by Page Six, shows Spelling owes the bank $219,796.66, while McDermott is responsible for the remaining $202,066.10.
“When a judgment has been paid or settled in full, satisfaction of the judgment is required to be filed in court, and none has been filed in this case,” City National Bank attorney Joshua Friedman he told Us Weekly..
The bank first filed a complaint against the former couple in December 2016 for breach of contract, receiving and receiving money, accounting for accounts and unjust enrichment.
At that time, they owed a balance of $188,803.38.
In 2019, the bank issued another writ of execution, claiming that neither party had still paid the amount and that their six-figure debt had accrued interest.
Representatives for Spelling and McDermott did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
News of Spelling’s financial woes has been circulating since 2023, when the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress made headlines after relocating herself and her five children – Liam (17), Stella (15), Hattie ( 12), Finn (11) and Beau. 7 – to an RV for an extended stay due to “mold” in her home.
“It has been difficult for her to find an apartment during this time because her financial situation is not great,” an insider told “Entertainment Tonight” in August 2023.
Spelling was also criticized earlier this month for briefly moving his family to a budget motel.
Things seemed to be looking up for the “MisSPELLING” podcast host when she improved her family’s living situation last February.
She and the rest of the Spelling clan moved into a huge five-bedroom, three-bathroom house in the western San Fernando Valley priced at $15,000 a month.
According to the Daily Mail, Spelling paid a $7,500 deposit to receive the keys to the property, which includes a luxury pool and spa, an updated stainless steel kitchen with blue cabinets and a large living space.
