All dogs go to heaven.
Travis Barker and his daughter Alabama Barker mourn the loss of their beloved French bulldog, Blue.
Drummer Blink-182, 46, and his youngest child were photographed depressed and hugged as they left a Los Angeles vet’s surgery on Wednesday.
16-year-old Alabama held dog toys in her arms, wiping away tears.
The father-daughter duo wore matching sunglasses, black hoodies, and shorts as they walked together.
Blue wasn’t with them, and based on their Instagram stories posted hours later, it looks like the aging pooch may have been put to sleep.
“I will miss you Blue. I will miss you.” You were the best dog. I’ve always waited for you to say something, ”Travis wrote in a video showing him and his daughter gently stroking the dog. There were sniffles in the background.
Travis shared close-ups of Blue wrapped in blankets, accompanied by a broken-hearted emoji, as well as photos of him kissing and hugging his beloved pet.
Alabama was especially distraught because Blue, whom she had had from childhood, “slept next door … [her]”.
“I love you blue, you’ll never understand how much you helped me in my darkest days,” she wrote at the top of the video where she carries a dog by giving him soft pets.
She remembered the way she had ‘thrown [his] ball and [he] he was running with excitement ”and said his sweet eyes“ touched everyone ”.
“I will never forget you, darling, I know you will have a great time in dog’s heaven until we meet again, my love ♥ ️,” concluded Alabama.
She then flooded her Instagram Story with photos and videos of Blue over the years, including a hilarious video where she howls behind sliding glass doors.
“He used to shout if I didn’t let him in right away :(,” explained Alabama.
According Blue’s Instagram accountwhich has not been updated since May 2018, his full name was Yung Blue Dawg.
“I love basketball 🏀 I love to cuddle, fart 💨 and eat 🍝” – we read in the pooch’s biography. “I have 3 hau hau brothers, a biggie and Elvis, and 1 fudge daughter.”
