It is interesting to note that Kirk owned and operated his own company called Kirk Wrench LLC. In this company he did plumbing and do-it-yourself work in addition to working on machines. Most recently, in January 2018, he was promoted to Vice President of Product Development at Hall Of Fame Innovations, LLC. He will begin his new role as Vice President of Turbo Trusser in March 2021.
Readers should be made aware that Kirk still works at Hall of Fame Innovations. The need for a food-safe chicken roasting method was the impetus for the development of the Turbo Trusser. These hooks connect it to the legs and wings. After that, the legs are inserted into the slots that have been carefully built into the truss. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher and is suitable for use in ovens, rotisseries, grills, roasters, smokers and fryers, among other things. Northeast Ohio was where both the design and production of the Turbo Trusser took place. The wire is manufactured by Wire Products of Cleveland, while Cleveland Metal Stamping is responsible for stamping the shape. He created the distinctive Kirk Wrench, unmatched by any other wrench on the market in its ability to adapt and fit into even the smallest of spaces. The Culinary Institute of America awarded him a diploma. He is currently a coach at Invent Right, a Nevada-based company that guides inventors on how to effectively commercialize their inventions.
Brian is President of Turbo Trusser, LLC. His background includes developing new products and introducing them to the retail market. He also has extensive medical sales experience. He holds an MBA from Malone University and a business degree from Kent State University.
They became friends when Kirk restored Brian’s house seven years ago. After a few false starts with previous inventions, Kirk and Brian came up with the Turbo Trusser. They chose to work with local companies because they grew up in the Ohio Rust Belt, which historically served as a manufacturing hub. A sealing machine is used by Brian, Kirk, and Brian’s wife, Bre, to complete orders from their family business’s warehouse.
While running this business, Brian and Kirk also go about their daily business. Brian said, “They always want to sell more, but it’s pretty good to be able to get that level of sales with very little marketing know-how or funds.” He submitted an online application for the show when the product launched earlier this year was first announced. A few months later, when sales hit $50,000, he applied again. He said the application process was straightforward and mentioned that he answered some questions on the web form. Shark Tank producers called him in April for more details. He claimed that there were no assurances that you would continue throughout the process as they kept trimming it.
