As Detective Dennis Booker on the Fox television series 21 Jump Street (1988-89) and its spin-off Booker, actor Richard Grieco is best known (1989-90).

In addition to appearing as himself or his 21 Jump Street persona in numerous movies and television shows, Richard has voiced characters in a number of video games.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Richard Grieco entered rehab in 1997. He was driven by vanity because, according to the magazine, “I knew that if I looked like garbage, I’d never go to work.”

Richard was detained for public intoxication after allegedly yelling and slurring at flight attendants.

He slumped over the counter, yelling at the staff and speaking in an slurred manner. He smelled like alcohol. Before his flight, Grieco admitted to the police that he drank two cranberry vodkas.

Police officers noticed that the actor was wobbly on his feet when he was arrested. He claimed he had taken Klonopin on a prescription to address his fear of flying, and he had it with him.

According to the police, Richard should not have consumed alcohol while taking anti-anxiety drugs. Richard insisted to TMZ that the event was “not that big of a deal” and that he would be flying again on Friday morning.

Richard is still involved in Hollywood and is a strong contender to be named Person of the Year by Time magazine in 2022.
