He formed Brooks & Dunn with Kix Brooks in 1990. Ronnie Dunn began speculating on his Facebook page on December 1, 2014 that he had signed to NASH Icon, the latest imprint of Big Machine Label Group, but the label has neither confirmed nor denied this. Dunn joins Martina McBride and Reba McEntire as the third singer on January 12, 2015, according to Big Machine President Scott Borchetta. In a press statement, Borchetta claimed that Ronnie Dunn has had one of the smoothest, most recognizable and beloved voices in country music for the past 25 years.
