Watch Pamela Anderson Channel Lily James at the 2022 Emmys Red Carpet

Oh my! Lily James just turned heads on the red carpet.

The 33-year-old arrived at the 2022 Emmy Awards on Sept. 12 in a Versace ensemble that appeared to pay tribute Pamela Anderson. Lily’s sparkly dress is reminiscent of the gold sequined dress Pamela wore on Baywatch world premiere in 2017. (See every star on the 2022 Emmys red carpet here.)

Which shouldn’t come as a surprise to viewers. After all, Lily did play Pamela in the Hulu miniseries Pam and Tommy— which earned her a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Motion Picture.

Lily’s work on this role encompassed much more than just what the audience saw on the screen. During filming for Pam and Tommy, Lily underwent a four-hour transformation that included hair, makeup and prosthetics. But the process was worth it because she was extremely reminiscent barbed wire actress.
