Although Stay’s brother Pete told CBC that his brother was the victim of the fight, the news has yet to be officially confirmed by authorities.

Police are said to have arrived just after midnight when Stay was taken to the hospital. He died as a result of his injuries. So far there have been no arrests. Police are also asking anyone with information about the stabbing to call 902-4*0-5**0.
