Kolkata, Sep 26 (IANS) Kalyanmoy Bhattacharya, the son-in-law of former West Bengal Training Clergyman and Trinamool Congress Secretary General Partha Chatterjee, is being questioned by the Authorization Directorate (ED) since Monday evening regarding the multi-crore West Bengal School Scam in registration Administration Commission (WBSSC).
Bhattacharya appeared at the ED office at the focal government office (CGO) complex in Salt Lake at around 2:30 pm on Monday and till around 10 pm, his cross examination was on.

ED sources said that Bhattacharya, who is currently staying in the US and along with his better half and Chatterjee’s girl, Sohini Chatterjee Bhattacharya, was gathered twice to go to Kolkata for talks . However, he avoided the request then.
However, he showed up in Kolkata on Saturday and the transit authorities at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Worldwide Air terminal alerted the ED.
The ED authorities immediately reached out to him and asked him to be available at its office in Salt Lake on Monday night, and he agreed.
It was discovered that Bhattacharya was being approached by ED detectives in two associations.
The former is connected with a global school of Pingla classification in West Midnapore area named BCM Global School after Partha Chatterjee’s late husband Babli Chatterjee, of which he was the Administrator. ED detectives suspect that a portion of the WBSSC enlistment inconsistencies have put resources into the school.
The ED also charged him in connection with three organizations namely Improline Developments Pvt Ltd, HRI Abundance Creation Real estate agents Pvt Ltd, and Acrisius Counseling Pvt Ltd. According to the records of the Enlistment center of Organizations under the Association Service of Trade, while Bhattacharya is the Overseeing Chief in Acrisius Counseling, in more than two organizations, he is a normal Chief.
ED sources revealed that among the agents of HRI Abundance Creation Real estate and Improline Developments, the next Chief is Krishna Chandra Adhikari, who is Bhattacharya’s maternal uncle and a resident of Pingla in West Midnapore. ED investigators suspect that each of these three are shell organizations floated with the intention of redirecting the trick that continues through different channels.
