Weezer will not be promoting their Broadway residency as the band’s frontman Rivers Cuomo revealed. The craftsman performer, 52, released the truth on Weezer’s actual server struggle on Thursday. All four EPs are planned to be linked to one of the seasons. Weezer announced the residency in June — tickets went on sale June 24 — and shows are set to begin at NYC’s Broadway Theater on September 13. Two of the four EPs, SZNZ: Spring and SZNZ: Summer have been delivered, while the SZNZ: Autumn and SZNZ: Winter is coming. As Rolling Stone points out, tickets for the residency are currently available for purchase starting around Thursday morning. Weezer actually performed at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco on August 7.
