Finneas supports his little sister – even when she’s dating a man more than a decade older than her.
The 25-year-old musician wondered about Billy Eilish’s relationship with Jesse Rutherford almost two weeks after the couple made their red carpet debut.
“Look, as long as she’s happy, I’m happy” Finneas said E! News Thursday.
Not only were Eilish, 20, and Rutherford, 31, together at the LACMA Art + Film gala on November 5, they were actually walking on the carpet wrapped in the same Gucci blanket.
The rockers alternately hid under the eye-catching cover and dropped it to show off matching all-silk pajamas with the Gucci monogram.
Eilish opted for a sleeveless lace-trimmed nightgown paired with a floor-length robe and monogrammed eye mask, while Rutherford wore a long-sleeved shirt and pants and fluffy Gucci slippers.
The Grammy winner and The Neighborhood frontman officially announced their controversial Instagram romance just after Halloween.
Making fun of their 11-year age difference, the two dressed up as a baby (Eilish) and an old man (Rutherford) and showed involvement for their costumes.
The “Bad Guy” singer wore a bonnet, bib and makeup babydoll while the “Cry Baby” singer (ironically) donned a bald spot, a gray mustache and braces.
“Life is crazy🤡 happy halloween🎃🥰”, Eilish signed a carousel containing various videos and photos – the last one being their couple’s costume.
Fans of the “Happier Than Ever” singer were not thrilled with the disguises, with many criticizing her decision to downplay what many consider “seduction”.
Eilish and Rutherford sparked romance rumors last month when they were spotted holding hands as they emerged from a haunted maze during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.
A few days later, they apparently confirmed their relationship with a paparazzi-captured sesh outside an Indian restaurant in Los Angeles.
