Where are the couples and singles now?
Warning: spoilers ahead! Don’t continue unless you’ve watched all the episodes from Season 3 of “Love Is Blind”.
The long-awaited fate of the players who took part in the third installment of Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” has finally arrived.
Page six only spoke to the cast to gather all the tea where things stand with the people they bonded with in the pods – and got engaged unnoticed – on their wedding day.
We break down everything we know about where couples and singles are now.
ALEXA ALFIA & BRENNON LEMIEUX
These two goals were several goals from day one and finally said ‘yes’ on June 30, 2021. We’re delighted to announce that they are still married – and the bond they formed in the pods only strengthened.
“It’s amazing. He’s spicy, I like it,” Alfia said about how married life has been so far. “He’s just my person. He’s the greatest man in the world. And being able to marry him is really just a blessing. I’m very, very happy to have it.
Alfia admitted that such a lot of confidence in her relationship with Lemieux surprised them both at first, but they are happy they went through the experiment.
“I think we were the two most skeptical people who got into this. So when we found it, we just really stuck to it, ”she explained.
“Each day was just more and more [proof] that we’re exactly the same person… together it just really works. We just really complement each other. “
As for the toughest challenge they’ve had to face in the real world? According to Lemieux, who lives in Texas with Alfia, he travels on holidays.
“My family lives this far away, so like, ‘How long are we spending in this person’s house? When are we leaving and when are the Cowboys playing? ” – he joked. “So yeah, it’s just getting around normal life together, but I wouldn’t do it with anyone else.”
COLLEEN REED & MAT BOLTON
After committing to each other at the “Love Is Blind” altar on July 2, 2021, these two are still going strong and are still “best friends of each other,” according to Reed.
“Married life is great now,” said the ballet dancer, before noticing that she and Bolton definitely faced challenges.
“Marriage is very difficult; you have to work on it all the time. I am glad that “Love Is Blind” has allowed us to build strong communication because now it is better than ever and we are blissfully happy and in love. “
As fans witnessed during the finale, Reed hesitated to say “yes” to Bolton in the moments leading up to their wedding – due to their many ups and downs and skepticism about whether they were ready for the next move.
“I knew I loved him and didn’t want to live without him, so I just held on to how I felt,” she recalls. “So on the day I was still toying with that question but wanted to go with my gut. As soon as I saw him cry walking down the aisle, there was no hesitation. As soon as we looked in the eye when I saw him, I felt that I knew he was my person.
For his part, Bolton said that “the hardest thing to navigate” in the real world with Reed is adjusting to your lifestyles.
“You do certain things on weekends when you’re single that you want to do in a relationship,” he explained. “So you have to stop – he plays golf for me. I hardly play golf anymore. So it’s just putting these things together. “
RAVEN ROSS & SIKIRU “SK” ALAGBADA
Although this fan-favorite couple did not get married during the finale, they are currently dating and for now make their relationship work the long way. Ross stays in Dallas while SK goes to school in California.
“We had a happy ending even though we ended up with a few tears,” the pilates instructor said to Page Six. “I love our story. I love where we ended up… and there’s so much more to us. ”
SK explained that they talked about their relationship right after they got married and have been on the same page ever since.
“We had the opportunity to talk and talk about different things and see things from a different perspective,” he said. “I think our relationship was very, very special right from the start. This [was] It’s like connecting two different worlds and back then I didn’t think adding marriage to it would solve those differences. Rather, it would complicate things. “
He continued, “But I also knew that Raven and I had a chance outside of capsules, in real life. At the moment we are [on] good conditions. We take things at once and we are excited about tomorrow. “
BARTISE BOWDEN & NANCY RODRIGUEZ
Fans were left at the edges of their seats, waiting to see if these two would make it work in the end amid their ongoing struggles for commitment. However, Bowden eventually told Rodriguez “no” on their wedding day.
“I think my happy ending was that he said no. I didn’t see it at that point, but I think it was black and white to me. “You said no, I said yes, I’m flying out,” she explained. “So yeah, I think it was like,” Thank you for refusing because you are not my person. “
At the reunion, Bowden admitted that he was “embarrassed and embarrassed” by some of his actions, especially the comments he made about what Ross’ “smoke show” was after seeing her for the first time outside of the capsules.
He also revealed that, by watching the episodes backwards, he “took root” in his relationship with Rodriguez – and “wished” he would say “yes” at the altar.
“Yes, I’m single. Me and Nancy’s romantic relationship broke up on our wedding day,” said Page Six. “But our relationship is still a roller coaster. We went from friends to being totally unconnected, to disliking each other, back to friends.”
“Right now we’re talking about the conditions and it’s crazy because all of those emotions come back when we watch the episodes and then the world is watching the episodes now,” he continued. “So I’m glad we are friends and shared this amazing experience. I think this is the best solution for us. “
COLE BARNETT AND ZANAB JAFFREY
These two did no ends with tying the knot on the wedding day. Fans saw Jaffrey explain to his ex-fiancé at the altar that he had severely ruined her self-esteem with his comments on looks and comparisons to Reed, with whom he also made contact in pods.
“This whole thing set me on a journey of self-love,” Jaffrey told us. “So I think I have a happy ending because I’m in a really great place. I just love myself for the last year and if the right man wants to come, she is ready.
As for Barnett, he admitted that he still hasn’t “processed” everything that has happened since “the worst day in history,” but he counts on the support of his friends and family.
– I mean, it’s still baking. It still hurts when I see it, ‘he confessed. “Support, it was amazing. Everyone was there for me and I am very grateful to my friends and family. I don’t know if I would have been able to do without them.
Barnett burst into tears during the reunion episode, at one point stating that he regretted making the show because it “destroyed” it. However, during an interview with Page Six, he said that … i would do conduct the experiment again – and now he speaks cordially with Jaffrey.
“I wouldn’t call it friendship yet, but all I can say is that I know she cares about me and I know how I feel about her,” he said. “Our goal is to reach a place where there is air around us. For example: “Okay, the past belongs to the past.” We are working on it. “
All episodes of Season 3 of “Love Is Blind”, including the explosive reunion, are now broadcast on Netflix.
