Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow’s friendship is “weird”
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay cheers on Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow’s new friendship – even if he finds it quite strange.
“Yeah, that’s very strange to me,” says Gay, 40, an exclusive Page Six, promoting season three of the hit Bravo.
“I want determination for everyone, so I’m glad that everyone gets along and figured out their way,” he adds. “But of course yes, I live it. This is new to me. “
Rose, 36, and Barlow, 47, clashed with each other in the first two installments of “RHOSLC”.
But shifting dynamics among the cast – including Barlow’s fall with Meredith Marks, Mark’s unexpected reconciliation with Jen Shah, and the cracks in Rose’s relationship with Gay – made room for Rose and Barlow to turn from hostile to best of friends.
When asked if he thought the two were simply alliances, Gay – who is also Rose’s cousin – replies: “I think we’re already outside alliances at this point. It is like friendship. This is not a “Survivor.”
Reflecting on the on-camera disagreement with Rose, Gay claims he still has “love” for the CEO of Wild Rose Beauty.
“It looks like there’s been a serious implosion. I hope that’s not the case. I mean, I love Whitney. She is my cousin. There is “Bad Wheather,” says the founder of Beauty Lab + Laser, referring to the nickname Barlow gave the duo during their dramatic reunion of season one.
“I don’t know how this season is going to turn out and I’m nervous about it. I love Whitney and am attached to Bad Wheather.
In preview of the remainder of the 3rd season of “RHOSLC”Rose tells Gay, “You say our friendship is bullshit. This hurts me, Heather!
In another scene, an irritated cheerful one says to Rose, “Fuck you called me a liar! … You lost me, bitch. You lost me. ”
After “Salt Lake City” ended this year, Gay and Rose flew to Thailand to film the third season of Peacock’s spinoff “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.” Candiace Dillard, Gizelle Bryant (“Potomac”), Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria (“Miami”), Leah McScweeney (“New York”) and Porsha Williams (“Atlanta”).
Away from the ice-covered mountains of Utah, Gay reassured Rose that he had no intention of abandoning their friendship for good.
“If there’s something you know about me, I’m a Stage 5 bonnet,” says Page Six. “I never give up on friendship. Even when they try to break away from me.
