Daniel Laurie hopes his role as Reggie in Call the Midwife will earn him the Best Actor award at this year’s TV Choice Awards.

In the BBC period drama, he played a young man with Down syndrome so well that everyone was shocked and now wants to give him the next award.

Daniel has been in TV shows like “Stella”, “Vera” and “Finding Alice” in the past, so this is not his first time acting.

“Call the Midwife” got him his big break and from 2022 he has a bright future in the acting world.
