One of her tasks was to coordinate the work of six different groups conducting orthopedic research at the same time. She was also responsible for analyzing data, figuring out what the numbers mean, reviewing X-rays, and compiling manuscripts. She also mounted and photographed patients for stereometric radioanalysis while working in radiology.
She also recorded video in the operating room and edited it so it could be studied in revision patients. She also looked at explanted arthroplasty parts to see if they were damaged in vivo.
Leah worked for OrthoSensor, Inc. from February 2013 to September 2017. as a biomechanical and clinical research associate. She worked there for more than 4 years.

Leah and Aaron, who also host the show, came up with the idea for ‘The String Theory Podcast’. She created and hosts the popular web series ’60 Seconds of Science’.
String theory is a set of ideas in physics that replace the point-like particles of particle physics with one-dimensional objects called strings. String theory says that these strings move through space and talk to each other.
After Leah accidentally set her favorite shower curtain on fire while live-streaming a demonstration of how a two-phase rocket engine works, she discovered that these technological platforms are safer ways to share science with the public.

Aaron’s Instagram is full of beautiful photos of him and Leah. He usually posts pictures of them together on their birthday, her birthday, Valentine’s Day and sometimes when he misses her.
On Valentine’s Day, the musician posted a photo of the two with a sweet caption. He put it in writing;
“The Viking princess I love. You have brought so much love and joy into my life that I can’t even measure how full you make my heart and soul. You taught me what real love, kindness, patience and being a good teammate all mean.”
“My biggest supporter. Best friend. Thank you for being yourself and making my life better. My dear, happy Balentimes Day!”
They have two pit bulls and a cat without hair
Yes, you heard it right. Leah and Aaron have two dogs and a cat that they treat as family members. On his Instagram, he often posts photos of both the dogs and Sphynx.
The Sphynx cat breed, also known as the Canadian Sphynx, stands out because it lacks fur. Beginning in the 1960s, the Sphynx was created by carefully bred cats who were born without hair due to a genetic flaw.
If you’ve ever watched Friends, you may remember Mrs. Whiskerson, a Sphynx cat, a rare breed with no fur. Rachel played with the $1000 cat when she was a kid. It reminds her of the same cat her grandmother had. “The One With the Cat”, the second episode of Season 4 (S4), was all about this cat.
He once set up a series of photos with two dogs and Leah and explained what happened. He put it in writing;
“A year ago today, we added a new member to our family, making our house full. Today is the first time I had to leave them for a full tour and go back to do what I love most. Playing music.”
“The end of my last tour was in December 2019. So much has changed and happened in my life since then, and it’s hard to leave everything I have at home behind. I love these goofballs more than anything in the world, and I’m so grateful for all the joy they bring me every minute.”
