Faye Yager started an underground network to stop child abuse.

Michelle French, who has created a vast underground network where hundreds of mothers and children can find shelter, is Yager’s daughter. They are protected from alleged abuse by their father and spouse through these networks. She started a new life for herself and others after the real estate justice system failed to stop her.

Do you know children of the underground: Faye Yager

The Children of the Underground story was inspired by Yager, a woman who dedicated her life to defending abused spouses and children. Gloria Steinem and Sally Jessy Raphael were among the cast of the documentary that chronicled the women’s journey.

Production company Story Syndicate released the documentary on August 12, 2022 in the United States. A new five-part documentary from FX debuted on Hulu last Friday. After watching the documentary, viewers can learn more about the network’s moral dilemmas.

Yager spent her entire life developing the mechanism she had developed to hide abused women and children from the abuser’s ability to discover them. For the mother, who believed they were not legally protected, she built the necessary covert network.

Yagar, a charismatic vigilante portrayed in the series, had a painful experience with the legal system that inspired the women to embark on a new path in life.

Where is Faye Yager now?

Yager is currently a guest at the inn in Brevard, North Carolina. It was active in the 1980s and 1990s before ceasing in 1999 following the Shah lawsuit. She had to cope with the trauma of Jones’ physical abuse of her teenage daughter.

Yager then made an attempt to gain custody of her child to get her out of the perilous circumstances. However, the court did not treat the child fairly; Instead, according to medical records, French had gonorrhea.

Yagar was previously charged with kidnapping, cruelty to children and interfering with custody of the youths. Most recently, Ellen Dever, Shah’s wife, joined Yager’s secret organization. Shah sued Yager in federal court for $100 million after spending millions of dollars locating his children.

After the incident, Yager’s reputation came under scrutiny. She left the network out of concern and safety after even receiving death threats from her family over the act. As a result, she stayed out of the limelight and stardom. French confirmed that her mother is alive, healthy and with her family.

Previously, Yager was in suburban Marietta, Georgia, where she was on trial for alleged child abduction and emotional abuse.

Faye Yager’s husband sexually abused their daughter

Yager married Roger Lee Jones when she was a young woman. She was married when she was 17. Michelle French, the woman’s daughter, is born later. French was aware of the episode in which her mother testified in court. Her mother saw her daughter’s father abuse her.

French acknowledged the incident as a child, but Jones was awarded custody. When French was just four years old, her father Jones even gave her an STD. But the perpetrator remained responsible. After that, Yager was only allowed to visit under supervision and had little contact with her child.

When French was 13, she took over the situation without consulting her mother. French speaks to the media about her abusive father. She realized immediately that everything her father said was false and that he was mistaken.

French entered the kitchen, pulled a gun from the fridge and pointed it at his father. Then she threatened to never let him touch her again. Jones was eventually sentenced to 30 years in prison in 1990. He admitted to sexually abusing other youths and was fined for the crime.

However, Jones has never expressed her disapproval of her daughter French’s sexual abuse. Yager created a complex underground network after the incident in hopes that no other parent would find out what she and her child did.

In the course of the crime, the legal system failed them. At age 16, French acknowledged her father’s wrongdoing. French made sure her father sexually abused her for the first 13 years, although she didn’t recall all of the incidents.

The attack is still ongoing and in July Dr. Giovanni Quintella arrested for molesting a pregnant woman while she was having a cesarean section.
