A new investigation has revealed that before the end of the 2021-22 school year, Mondragon obsessively followed the path of 2018 Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz after he left school grounds and went to a nearby Walmart. Cruz was the person who started the school shootings in 2018.

People also say that his face tattoos remind them of Tate Langdon, a character from the TV series American Horror Story based on the Columbine High School massacre.

A police report said Mondragon told the MP he had the dead bird in his car because he “likes the smell of metal and blood emanating from the dead animal”. “Mondragon told the officer that the dead bird was in his car.”

Upon further investigation, it emerged that Mondragon had posed with the dead animals on his phone, and there was also video of his car parked near the memorial.

The investigation also found that Mondragon’s tattoos may be a nod to Tate Langdon’s facial skull makeup from the TV show American Horror Story, although it looks more like a zombie raccoon on Mondragon.

On July 20, a school warden saw a duck with a hole in its stomach sitting on a bench at the memorial. The next day a raccoon sat there. According to authorities, the dead opossum was found at the scene ten days later.

Nikolas Cruz is accused of killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018. His trial on the death penalty began on July 18. Animal bodies are said to have been thrown away just a few days after the trial began.
