The story of Thony De La Rosa, a former surgeon who now works as a cleaning lady to support her sick child, revolves around the Fox television show titled “The Cleaning Lady.” Since Thony is an undocumented immigrant, she faces some challenges in providing for her family in Las Vegas. Mobster Arman Morales’ illegal operations draw Thony into their webs, and FBI Agent Garrett Miller uses Thony as an aid in his pursuit and arrest of Arman.

Who exactly is this Robert Kamdar?

In the first episode of the second season of ‘The Cleaning Lady’, entitled ‘Sins of the Father’, Robert Kamdar is introduced to the public for the first time. After Arman is arrested, Nadia struggles to raise the necessary funds to pay bail for him. She goes to Thony for help and eventually asks her for the money stored on the bitcoin flash drive. However, while Thony clears the account, Garrett freezes it, leaving Arman in trouble. As a direct result, Nadia is forced to seek help from loan shark Robert Kamdar.

The character of Robert Kamdar is played by Naveen Andrews, an actor, in the series. In 1991, Andrews first appeared on the big screen in the movie ‘London Kills Me’. His portrayal of Jafar in “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” and Jonas Maliki in “Sense8” are undoubtedly the roles that have earned him the most fame. Some viewers may remember the actor from his role in the Hulu miniseries “The Dropout,” where he played the character Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani. For the upcoming second season of “The Cleaning Lady,” a regular role for Andrews in the series has been created for her in the show’s cast.

What does Robert hope to achieve with Arman?

In the second episode of the second season, Nadia approaches Robert with a financial request. Arman’s bail is set at a substantial sum of money, and it appears that Robert is aware of the circumstances surrounding Arman. As a result, he uses his position to negotiate a favorable contract for himself. Robert asks for a part in Arman’s arms company in exchange for the $1.6 million it takes to pay the bail. Arman is an arms dealer. Nadia tries to negotiate with Robert, but he is sure he won’t help her unless she first accepts his terms. Faced with the imminent danger to Arman’s life, Nadia gives in to the scheme, and Robert pays the bill for bail.

Arman is released from prison in the third episode, after which he and Robert meet to negotiate the business arrangement. Robert is denied the opportunity to become a partner in Arman’s firearms business. As a direct result of this, Robert offers an alternative. He assigns Arman the responsibility of recovering the money from the person to whom Robert had made a loan. While everything is going on, Robert is holding Nadia as collateral. It is discovered that Robert is Nadia’s ex-boyfriend, and he makes an effort to resume his relationship with her. Arman eventually returns with the money, but it’s clear that Robert isn’t interested in the monetary gain.

Robert seems to be interested in Nadia, and it’s likely he wants to hire her for his company. During a scene in the show, Robert tests Nadia’s abilities while giving the impression that he has romantic feelings for her. This makes it plausible that Robert has the intention to remove Nadia from Arman’s company. It seems likely that in the remaining episodes of the second season, Robert will make an effort to drive a wedge between Arman and Nadia. Whether or not Robert is successful in operating the husband and wife is something that can only be determined with the passage of time.
