Who is Maya Campbell?

In the second episode of Season 2, Maya Campbell is shown to the public for the first time. A college student struggling to pay her student loan, she currently works as a bartender trying to make ends meet. Maya Campbell is portrayed in the show by actress Chelsea Frei, who also stars in the series. Her recurring role as Luna in the comedy series ‘The Last OG’, which was produced by Jordan Peele and John Carcieri, is largely credited with catapulting her to stardom. You could say that Frei’s portrayal as Bridget Moody in ‘The Moodys’ has brought her the most fame. Frei may also be recognized by certain fans for her role as Ingrid in the HBO series “The Time Traveler’s Wife.”

Plus, before Maya can accept Garrett’s help, the two will likely have to get through their individual problems. As a result, it is possible that Garrett will not be able to help Maya, despite the fact that he does everything in his power to do so. On the other hand, it is unknown at this time whether or not Maya is interested in being rescued. Chelsea Frei Joins Season 2 of ‘The Cleaning Lady’ in Recurring Role

Fox has begun revealing new casting information for the hit crime drama series The Cleaning Lady as the Season 2 launch approaches. Chelsea Frei has joined the show’s returning cast, according to Deadline. In Episode 2 of Season 2, Frei’s character Maya Campbell makes her television debut.

In the second season of the show, Campbell will make her debut as a figure from FBI Special Agent Garrett Miller’s past. Campbell was once a straightforward, industrious woman who took a low-paying position as a bartender at a Las Vegas bar in an attempt to pay off her student loans. Unfortunately, when Agent Miller hires her as an informant for the case he’s working on, she gets lost in the FBI’s confusing drug case. However, their affair put an end to both their romance and the aforementioned drug case. It’s unclear how Campbell’s return would affect protagonist Thony (Élodie Yung), a Cambodian doctor whose situation-induced profession as a “cleaner” for the mafia keeps her constantly under the noses of the police.

It looks like Frei’s Campbell is one of the new people from Arman and Nadia’s past who will be introduced to Thony in “a fresh, new way,” as Melissa Carter, the showrunner, said in a June interview with Collider about the approaching season 2. Carter added, “Thony will create new enemies and new alliances and battle with new adversaries.” It will be interesting to see which camp Campbell takes on that spectrum. According to Carter’s statements, Frei is the first of those new series of characters to be revealed, and there are ostensibly more on the way.

With only a few TV jobs under her belt as of 2018, Frei is a relative newcomer to the acting world. In the on-demand comedy series Sideswiped, she made her acting debut as Jayne Tyler, a regular series.
