The fourth season of Glow Up returns to Netflix with ten young makeup artists from across Britain. The show will begin on August 19, and will be hosted by TV and radio host Maya Jama. The 28-year-old has been in many shows and made quite a name for himself. In the new season of Glow Up, ten makeup artists (MUAs) from Britain will compete in TV, theater, front covers, and online beauty campaigns. Val Garland and Dominic Skinner, both makeup and beauty experts, will be the judges for the show. The official synopsis of the show says: Who shines and who fades? Artists striving to become Britain’s next make-up stars show off their amazing transformations and beautiful works of art. Maya Jama from Glow Up started her career when she was still in high school. Maya was born and raised in Bristol, and started broadcasting when she was just 16 years old. Initially, she went to London in 2012 to try to make a living acting, modeling, and hosting TV shows. After several modeling jobs, she tried her hand at being a TV host. He was just a teenager at the time, and he started working for JumpOff.TV on a weekly music video countdown. He later worked for Sky UK on TRACE Sports. He hosted a show called Copa 90’s Maya’s Fifa World Cup Cities during the 2014 World Cup. He also hosted the World Cup Taxi series, which had nine episodes and was part of the same World Cup series. Later that same year, he became the host of The Wrap Up on MTV. Later, when she worked closely with the Brit Awards and did things like hosting their 2017 Pre-Brit Awards Party and a Facebook live stream from the red carpet, she became a household name. In September of the same year, he co-hosted the Saturday night game show Cannonball on ITV with Andrew Flintoff, Frankie Bridge, Radzi Chinyanganya, and Ryan Hand. This is another thing he did. Jama has also been a guest panelist on ITV’s Loose Women for two consecutive years, in 2017 and 2018. When she was 23, the Glow Up host became the youngest person to co-host the MOBO Awards in Channel 5 with co-presenter Marvin Humes. It was one of the high points of his career. Maya Jama has also co-hosted other shows, such as The Circle and Stand Up to Cancer. The host has also been a celebrity contestant on shows like “Don’t Hate the Playaz,” “League of Their Own Road,” and “The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.” Maya’s career took off in June 2020, when she co-hosted Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer on BBC One with Peter Crouch and Alex Horne. The Big New Year’s In, a New Year’s Eve show that Jama helped host, was also a BBC show. He was a guest judge on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in the UK in February 2021, and he also hosted Simon Cowell’s new music competition game show, Walk The Line. He also took over as host of Glow Up after the third episode, when Stacey Dooley left.
