The thrilling CBS television show NCIS concludes its nineteenth season with the kidnapping of Vivian Kolchak, previously married to Supervisor Special Agent Alden Parker. Vivian is kidnapped, and though she manages to escape, Parker is led to his foe, known as The Raven. Alden and Vivian spend the first episode of season twenty-first searching for the raven in hopes of putting an end to their plight. Parker teams up with his fellow agents at NCIS to convince the raven to come out of hiding so they can apprehend him. Unfortunately, their efforts resulted in a shootout with horrifying results. With viewers worried about what’s about to happen to her, let’s take a closer look at the latest development. Let’s talk about what we’re up to!

Will Vivian die?

After the death of Parker’s former FBI partner, Frank Ressler, the FBI begins investigating Parker and Vivian’s possible involvement in Ressler’s murder. Parker and Vivian, with the help of their NCIS colleagues and director Leon Vance, manage to evade capture and immediately set about proving their innocence. Parker teams up with Timothy McGee to find out why his adversary is trying to frame him for the murder of Ressler and kidnapping Vivian. This investigation eventually leads Parker to Maxwell Herman, a former hacker currently serving time for his crimes. Parker and McGee are under the impression that the Raven is orchestrating the whole predicament in order to force Maxwell to work for him again. As a result, they facilitate the hacker’s release in hopes of forcing the raven to report for him.

During Maxwell’s transfer to a safe house, Parker and his NCIS agents are attacked by Raven’s men. During the shootout, one of the men shoots Vivian dead, who later dies from her wounds. It is possible that the gunshot wound will not end fatally for her, although she is fighting for her life. Parker and several others accept responsibility for ensuring that she receives appropriate medical attention. Nick Torres calls Parker to inquire about Vivian’s health after taking her to the hospital. When asked about her condition, Parker replies that she “will be fine,” indicating that her current condition is nothing to worry about. Nick Torres then hangs up the phone. It’s possible that in the upcoming episodes of the twenty-first season, we’ll see Vivian taking some time off from work to recover from the wound she’s sustained.

Is Teri Polo leaving NCIS?

The actress’ departure from ‘NCIS’ has not yet been officially announced by either CBS or Teri Polo. In addition, since Polo is a member of the recurring cast of the series in its twenty-first season, it is guaranteed that the actress will not leave the series immediately after the airing of only one episode of the currently airing episode. Given that Vivian’s condition isn’t life-threatening, we can expect Polo’s character to recover quickly and that of her annoyed husband to settle down in the near future. Due to the fact that the actress will appear regularly on the show, Vivian is expected to play a significant role in the various plots that will unfold throughout the season.

In an interview that took place in September 2022, showrunner Steve Binder revealed that a significant portion of the upcoming twenty-first season will focus on the agents’ personal lives. Polo was born on June 1, 1969 in Dover, Delaware to parents Jane (née Gentry), a homemaker, and Vincent Polo, a stereo designer. Vincent Polo was Polo’s father. Their ancestry can be traced back to Italy, England and Germany. From the age of five she spent the next 13 years studying ballet. At 13 she was a student at the School of American Ballet in New York. At seventeen she moved to New York City to pursue an acting career, having previously won a modeling contest.

Career

Polo made her acting debut in 1987 in the role of Kristin Larsen, a character on the ABC soap opera Loving. The following year, she managed to land a part in the primetime cast of the CBS series TV 101. which didn’t last long. She also played the role of Christine Daaé in the 1990 miniseries adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera. In the final season of Northern Exposure, which aired in 1994, Polo was a regular cast member. In a later role she appeared in the television series Brimstone as Detective Ash. She played the role of Helen Santos, wife of Democratic presidential nominee Matt Santos, in recurring cameos in seasons six and seven of The West Wing. Her character’s name was Helen Santos (Jimmy Smits).

In February 2005, Polo posed completely nude for Playboy magazine. She was ranked #40 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women list for 2002. She was also featured in the InStyle issue. Additionally, she had a role in the film Legacy of Fear which was released on the Lifetime Movie Network in 2006. She had a starring role in the Hallmark Channel film Love Is a Four Letter Word, released in 2007 Feature Film 2:13 and the Hallmark Channel film Expecting a Miracle, in which she starred alongside Jason Priestley and Cheech Marin, was released that same year released. She also had a role in the film The Beacon that same year.

She had a role in the television pilot for the show Washington Field that aired in 2009, which was about an FBI entity called the National Capitol Response Squad. This group is made up of elite experts in various fields, and its members travel the world to respond to events affecting American interests. In the “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers” sequel titled “Little Fockers,” released in 2010, Polo reprized the role of Pam Focker. Teri landed a starring role on the ABC Family television series The Fosters in 2013. Sherri Saum played the role of Stef Adams Foster’s wife, Lena Adams Foster, and Polo portrayed San Diego police officer Stef Adams Foster. After The Fosters’ original run lasted five seasons, Polo continued to reprise the role on the spinoff series Good Trouble through guest appearances. The cast and producers of The Fosters got together for a “virtual table read” of the pilot episode in July 2020 to raise money for The Actors Fund and contribute to “COVID-19 Relief.”

Polo has appeared as a guest on a number of different television shows including The Practice, Felicity, Chicago Hope, Numb3rs, Sports Night, Frasier, Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Law & Order: LA, Castle and Criminal Minds.

Polo’s career has consisted of roles in a variety of films and television shows including JL Ranch and its sequel The Wedding Gift, All For Nikki, Deadly Switch, The Ravine and Fourth Grade. She has also voiced characters in the Adventure Time animated series. Teri’s return to television brought her full circle to her first love, dance, when she landed the role of former ballet dancer Julia on the Fox series The Big Leap alongside Scott Foley and Piper Perabo. Teri currently stars on the series alongside Scott Foley and Piper Perabo.
