Wynonna Judd dispels rumors of Ashley’s will over Naomi’s will
Wynonna Judd says she and Ashley Judd had “no quarrel” over the will of their late mother, Naomi Judd.
“Someone told me when I was at Ashley’s house,” Hey, did you know they were saying that about you? ” I went: “Huh? Am I fighting Ashley? Oh Again? ” Wynonna appealed to the people circulating rumors.
“Are they fighting for what? I have such a wonderful life. Ashley has a great life. Why should we fight for a will?
Court documents previously obtained by Page Six revealed that Naomi, who died of suicide in April at the age of 76, appointed her husband, Larry Strickland, as executor of her estate five years before his death.
After Strickland’s death, Wynonna, 58, said she and Ashley, 54, would “divide” the estate and, contrary to reports, did not intend to challenge the will.
“I’m the last person in the family – and if Ashley were here, I hope she’ll agree with me – who knows such things,” People said. “I’m not smart enough to say,” I’m going to contest the will. ” It never occurred to me.
In fact, Wynonna said that Naomi’s mourning only brought her and the “Bone Pickers” star closer.
“I feel like we’re connected in a completely different way because I’m an orphan,” said Wynonna, whose father is Charles Jordan. “Both my parents are gone and I’m counting on Ashley. Another way he relies on me is compassion. It’s not about being successful or being smart and capable. It’s about “I love you.” ‘I love you too.’ We are vulnerable and delicate to each other. “
She added, “As sisters, we disagree so much, but when it comes to our mother, we both look at each other and say,” She was a nice character. “
Now that they are close, Wynonna has admitted that she and Ashley once used the Life Coach to help repair their relationship that was strained by their separate successes.
“Ashley and I are very different people and we find out we have more in common than not,” said the lead singer of “Grandpa”. “It’s really interesting because when you are younger you think there is more separation.
“One day we had a really deep conversation and we went through it and no one got hurt.”
