Your First Look at E!’s New Series Raising a F***ing Star

The new reality series E! Raising a black star— premiering Sept. 7 — follows the lives of emerging young stars from across the country… and the parents who help them succeed in Hollywood.

If the series sounds familiar to longtime Bravoholics, that’s because it’s a reimagined version of the Bravo show Show business of moms and dadswhich lasted one season in 2004. Only this time, the Emmy Award-winning producers are behind RuPaul’s Drag Race and A million dollar listing stand at the wheel.

The show’s talented cast includes sisters and performers Chacha and Kenny Shenthe rapper Flau’J Johnsonactress-singer-dancer Daelyanna and an aspiring supermodel Breanna Bunevach. But behind the scenes, their parents support them Sam and Phil Shen, Kia Brooks, Cool Benson and Kelly Dedman and Jessica Bunevachin accordance.

Like any good reality show, fans can expect plenty of drama, from sibling rivalry to parents learning to share the spotlight with their children.
