Zoë Kravitz Reveals Why She Was “Drawn” to Boyfriend Channing Tatum

Just like magic Zoe Kravitz felt a connection with Channing Tatum even before they met.

While casting for her directorial debut thriller Pussy Island, batman the star knew that the role of Slater King, the tech mogul, had to be played by “someone who hadn’t played a dark character before.” The role in question eventually went to Kravitz’s current boyfriend, who the actress admitted was her “first choice.”

“I sensed, even from afar, before I knew him, that he was a feminist and that he wasn’t afraid to explore that darkness because he knew he wasn’t,” Kravitz said. WSJ Magazine in an interview dated August 16. “That’s why I was drawn to him and wanted to meet him. And I was right.”
